Strangers “I opened my room, my temple and my soul, it was difficult”
VERA ABDULINA

Intimacy, to me, is giving someone a direct access to our souls. The act of unmasking, speaking our truth, is a sacred activity which allows two souls to meet and touch more deeply. I have been exploring intimacy within different people's relationships and was met with various points of view.
Social constructions, traumas and the vulnerability in opening up, all play a big role in the ability to be intimate with another person, especially a stranger.
So, what happens when you start to “play” the act of intimacy, does it become fake or does a physical closeness inevitably evoke a sense of realness and connection?
