With this project I delved into the mystery and tension surrounding the Villa Empain, an Art Deco house built in the 1930s which has had a turbulent history. With this work I aim to challenge the viewer's notions of reality and invite them to explore the indistinct and vague scenes depicted, asking them to reflect on the complex relationship between our powers of perception, the past and the present.
