Cohabitatio

SALOME, ERNI

As humans, our individualistic mindsets cover the way shared infrastructure and collaboration determine our existence. We rely on increasingly complex systems. Similarly, growing mushrooms exchange vital information, water, and nutrition through mycelium.

I use the fungi network as a metaphor for human coexistence. Combined with various maps of infrastructure, I draw attention to the adapting, evolving systems of our civilisation that tend to be overlooked.
