KOMMA collective was founded during our field trip to Brussels in March 2023. This annual excursion to an unfamiliar city is part of the second-year photography program at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
We wanted to connect to the city and use it as a source to develop our own practice within a different environment. Challenged by the varying circumstances of this unknown city, we created individual projects with the help of peers and teachers. We worked on location as well as in the studio in collaboration with the LUCA School of Arts. The week concluded with a wonderful group exhibition in Recyclart.
