How does an object become sacred? Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about finding ways to be more connected with my spirituality by creating amulets - symbols of self-protection.

 While living far from home, small personal rituals helped me to cope with the distance from my homeland and my loved ones. Reflecting on this, my project is about the amulets that I find and create in the world around me.

These objects, that I’ve determined are sacred, became my company and my guardians. I don’t walk alone - not anymore.
